Who We Are

Dance Masters Pacific Coast is the founding chapter of Dance Masters of America, an international dance teacher organization that has served the dance community for over a century. It is made up of renowned dance educators throughout the state of California with a like-minded dedication to quality of instruction, the development of artistry in students, and the creation of a safe and supportive community amongst both teachers and dancers from all studios and training facilities.

Dance Masters Pacific Coast offers many opportunities for growth and enrichment, such as workshops for both teachers and students, scholarship opportunities, and conventions with internationally-recognized master teachers to inspire and educate the upcoming generation of dancers. Annual events currently include Solo Title Competitions, Performing Arts Competition (PAC), and a one-day convention in Spring 2024.

The DMPC Difference

DMPC members have the opportunity to learn and network with fellow educators who share the goals of providing quality dance instruction to their students in a supportive, artistic environment. The DMPC membership is truly a community – members and students form life-long friendships regardless of studio affiliation, and this provides a unique environment at all DMPC events. This environment allows students and teachers to inspire each other rather than just compete, and this inspiration leads to profound growth and artistic development.
